Lego Story

In 1932 in Billund, Switzerland, there was a man who was named Oli. He had a wife and they had 4 sons. Oli’s wife sadly died but Oli still continued to work because he wanted to get money for his sons. The next day, Oli started making wooden toys so he could sell them and get food for his sons. Oli and his son, Godfrey made more toys like houses or toys to sell. Godfrey and his father Oli were very happy that they were getting money and they were buying lots of food.

Eventually, Oli decided to make a name. He found out that Leg Godt meant playing well. He didn’t want to do that because he wanted a small word so he called it Lego and that is why Lego is called Lego.

From then on, he started making plastic bricks and soon that made bricks that children could build their own designs. Oli later died and Godfrey was left alone, but he didn’t give up. Godfrey carried on and he had an idea of making an airport and he did. After that, he decided to make an amusement park called Lego Land and so he did.

My Favourite Food Rap

Pork Spare
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  I love to eat pork,
and I eat with a fork.

It’s my favorite food,
And I’m not being rude.

I eat it when it’s hot,
Cause it comes from a pot.

It’s my favourite food,
It puts me in a good mood.

Manaiakalani Film Festival

Today my school and different other schools went to Sylvia Park to watch the Manaiakalani Film Festival. Some schools came in a van but all of the other schools came on a bus like us. When the bus stopped we all got off the bus and walked to the car park and stood in a straight line.

When we were ready we started to walk into the theatre. After that we went and sat down near the Toyworld shop then we have to wait for the other school to come so we can go inside and watch our movie when all of the school came we went inside and my school was lucky because we get to sit at the luxury chairs at the back.

My favourite movie was room six and room seven because I like how they made up their song because there song was lovely.

Sportsmanship

When you are playing sports, make sure you play fair and don't cheat. If you are playing sports and you miss the ball don't go to someone and argue with them just go to the back of the line and wait until it is your turn to have another go.

To be a good Sportsman, you have to be kind and never give up. You should be supportive and don't break the rules and always be friendly to one another.

Duffy and the best book in the world

On a lovely day my school went to the hall and sat down and look at the front. There were three people standing at the front, one guy was holding a guitar and the boy and the girl was standing looking at us. One guy was Samoa and the other guy was maori and the girl was half tonga and half english.

My my favourite part was when Scruffy put the paper on his face and pretended he was a ghost and when his brother Duffy took off the paper from his face his face was funny and we were laughing at him because of his face.
