It’s a group of sisters, they all have kids and they all live together. Also the little koru on the big  koru are the babies of the big koru.

Easter Presentation

This is my Easter Presentation that I did this week . I want to share my learning about Easter. This week in Religious Education we have been learning about Easter. I also got to practice using my skills on my Google Presentation.

Stellaluna

1. Stellaluna is a fruit bat. We can find bats in every part of the world except where is very, very hot or in the really cold area.

2. Some bats live in the trees some lives in the buildings and the cave some lives in the bridge.

3. Some bats eat fruit and pollen like mango and flowers.

4. Bats has very good hearings. They use it to find food and to locating their babies.
Bats are not blind.

5. When bats sent out sound waves using their mouth or they nose. Some bats when the sound hits an object the sound of the echo come back to them and they find it.

Term 2 Topic

This Term we are going to be looking at school in the past, now and tomorrow. We will be researching what schools were like in the past and imagining what they will be like in the future. Here is the brainstorm of our prior knowledge that we put together today using Wallwisher.com  

Term 1 Reflection

My favourite thing this term was doing my work because I learn new stuff.

My behavior goal for next term is that I will listen to my teacher and I will be good.

My working goal for next term is that I will do my work until it is finished and I will try my best.

Okatopodi

Okatopodi is a short film that was set in Greece. Room 3 watched Okatopodi because we have been learning about reviews on books and movies. The characters in the story are Oktapodi, his girlfriend and this man in a van.
                    

Oktapodi and the girlfriend hugged and then this man came and asked for the pink octopus.

The man that works at the shop took the octopus and give it to the man and put it in the man box. The man took the box and put it in his van.  The man went inside the van and started it so they could go with the octopus to his work. Okatopodi saw the van and there was a man with the octopus and a knife. He thought that the man is going to cut the octopus. So Okatopodi escaped from the fish shop and went to save his girlfriend.

He went and the van started to go but luckily he held on to the van. So he went up the van and went to the window and got inside. The man saw Okatopodi and screamed and tried to hit Okatopodi without looking where was he going. He hit Okatopodi then he saw where he was and he scream and turn the wheel the other side and Okatopodi went to the front of the van. The man clicked the window wipers and it turn on and it wiped Okatopodi all over the window.  The pink octopus saw the hand-brake and pulled it up. The van went around and Okatopodi and the girlfriend went out from the van and Okatopodi hit the wall. The girlfriend tried to make Okatopodi come up but the man in the van tried to crush Okatopodi but he didn’t because the girlfriend pulled him up and they both went in the swimming pools over
and over again until the man got them and hit them on the top of the van. The octopus’ escaped because the man in the van drove it off a cliff and landed in the ocean.

Oktapodi and his girlfriend were safe on the electric wires but a bird came and took Okatopodi. The girlfriend was not happy and went to get Okatopodi back.

My opinion of this movie is I thought it was funny because the girlfriend used the wire and herself to make a sling shot to hit the bird with Oktapodi.
